of services, helping students to experience a genuinely
French environment as far as the social, cultural
and practical life in Cannes and its region is concerned

tennis courts, etc. All at competitive prices.
Information about indoor and outdoor activities:
pottery, dance, drawing, photography, sports teams,
etc...
Availibility
of leisure equipment such as table-tennis
bats, badminton rackets, parlour games, etc...
Practical
information : bus, train and plane
schedules, information on car and scooter rentals,
hotels, and a list of shopkeepers and restaurants
in Cannes, bicycle rentals, plane, train, and hotel
reservations.

A PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES organized by the Collège is handed to the students at the beginning of each session. Some of those activities are for free others may require a fee.

During their stay, students
are always encouraged to speak French not only with the
Collège staff, but also among themselves. Three
other ways allow them to practice French as often as possible.
The "Echange Langue Club" : created in September 1988, is based on a very simple idea, drawing on French people from Cannes who want to practice a foreign language. Under this system participants spend 6 to 8 hours a week together conversing in French half of the time, and the other half in the students' native language. The "Accueil-Plus" shops selected by the Collège are recognizable by the Collège initials diplayed in their windows. They are not only stores where students can benefit from reduced prices, but also friendly places where students have opportunities to speak French in an everyday context.
Corporate
Internships : Available to students possessing a matured knowledge of both
the written and oral aspects of the french language (minimim level B2). The
internships can take place within various firms in Cannes, granting a hands-on
approach to the professional life in France. On 2 or 3 afternoons per week,
for at least 3 months, the internships are non-paying and participating students
must provide their own insurance, in case of accident and other unpredictable
events.
