Gourmet French Course : Parcours gastronomique Only

Program 1st week

Monday
2pm to 6pm: In the afternoon: creation of a plate by each participant (introduction in pottery) - in Vallauris, “la Cité des potiers”.

Tuesday
1pm to 7pm: a « gourmet stroll » through Roquebrune sur Argens / guided visit of the medieval village followed by a tasting at a local producers’s (chocolate, honey, vine, a choice of tastes aromas) / Chocolate-Macaron workshop : animated by the "maître chocolatier" in person / visit of the chocolate museum with the "chocolatier".

Wednesday
8:30am to 11am : guided visit of Cannes : the old town, the port, the provenal market, the delicatessen shops of the Rue Meynadier and the Rue d'Antibes…
11am to 2pm : gourmet workshop in Cannes : kitchen course "lunch formula" : a starter, a main plate, a dessert (course from 11am to 12:30pm followed by lunch with the chef).

Thursday
from 1pm to 7pm : the path of parfumes - Visit of the garden of natural parfumes in Mouans-Sartoux – a « delicious stroll » among all the plants, discovering fields and ancient cultures. Visit of Grasse, the city of parfumes with a visit of Galimard (a perfumery).

Friday
from 1pm to 8pm : excursion to Tourettes sur Loup – historic gardens : visits with different themes on vegetables and medicinal plants from around the world – visit of the candy factory Florian (refinement of local fruits and flowers as well as chocolate production and perfumed candies with provencial taste – Workshop flower kitchen (course from 6pm to 8pm followed by a tasting from 8pm to 9pm).

Monday
from 9am to 2pm : Workshop flower kitchen followed by a visit of flower fields in Grasse/
The gourmet duo (course from 11am to 12:30pm followed by a tasting from 12:30pm to 1:30pm)

Tuesday
de 1pm à 3pm : visit of an olive oil mill in Opio : situated nearby Grasse, this mill belongs to the same family since 6 generations. The oil production takes place from beginning of November till late January – guided visit.
from 3pm to 6pm : cocktail with the chef of a French restaurant : tasting of vines and provençal products cooked specially for the participants of the course.

Wednesday
de 3pm à 8pm : « Tea time » in Cannes : preparation of desserts (course from 3pm to 4:30 followed by a tasting from 4:30pm to 5:30pm).

Thursday
from 1:30pm to 7pm : visit of the wine yard Saint Julien d’Aille : wine growing estate of 170 hectars 80 of which with grapes situated in the heart of the Côtes de Provence / visit of the wine cellar with explication of the wine pressing / wine tasting of white, rosé and red wines.
from 8:00pm to 11pm : wine and cheese evening on the campus of the Collège.
